Capturing the beauty of scenic vistas of North America in realistic detail is the focus of artist-photographer Frederic Kohli. His work includes a wide range of subjects from lighthouse seascapes to scenic landscapes of mountains, lakes, beaches, desert and tropical scenery.His artwork involves realistic paintings on canvas, paper and wood. However, he also created impressionist paintings of floral vistas and gardens. His work also includes a series of pen and ink drawings of interesting lighthouses and their unique settings.His photographic work originated with photos of the various lighthouses he has visited over the years. He later expanded his work to cover the colorful sunrise and sunset cloud formations over central Florida's lakes and trees.Over the years, a large number of his paintings have been placed with collectors in the United States and in Europe.
